School districts are able to provide free meals to all K–12 students through the end of June 2021 thanks to waivers granted by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). However, once the funds run out at the end of the calendar year, many students will still need access to free or reduced-price meals from their school.
Did you know that you need to complete your Free & Reduced program application every year? Even while all kids are getting fed for free this fall, there are many reasons to apply like reduced or waived fees and funding for school programming or services! Parents and guardians can do so by clicking lunchapp.com or by picking up a paper application from your child’s school.
The application takes less than 10 minutes to fill out and will help schools fund important resources for students. Questions? Call Nutrition Services at (509) 465-6100.
The application process is simple and confidential. Please go to https://www.lunchapp.com/ to apply today.
