This year's Annual STEM Night is going to be held on Tuesday, February 7th at Mead High School from 6:00-8:30pm. We are beginning the evening with Dorothy Metcalf-Lindenburger, former NASA Astronaut and teacher, who will be speaking in the theater from 6:00-6:45. We anticipate a huge turnout of around 3,000 attendees. We will have representation from local companies that support our STEM and CTE classes. Our own CTE and STEM programs throughout our district including MHS, MSHS, RA, MMS and NW will be interacting will attendees to show how Design Thinking, Project-Based Learning and 21 Century Skills are being utilized in their courses. We are excited about this amazing night and would hope that you would join us.

January is all about coming back from our Holiday, working through our academics, starting up a new sport season and ending our 1st semester!!
Almost anything festive goes- ugly sweaters, hats, elf costumes, etc!!! Staff and students let’s "decorate the halls“ with fun and festive attire
Today the true Spirit of the Season overflowed from the hearts of our students and filled the cafeteria with gifts of warmth - blankets, pajamas and active wear - made and donated by our 1st, 2nd and 3rd graders.
The Director of The Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery was overwhelmed with the amount of gifts for those children at the nursery, and thanked our students for their kindness and generosity.
So proud to be a Hawk!
